Their story began in true millennial fashion when Jonas slid into Turner’s DMs. While Turner thought Jonas would be “a d–k,” on their first date (and consequently brought half a rugby team with her to provide protection should he prove to be a catfish) the two hit it off and were soon inseparable and deeply and mutually protective of their love affair.
The singer and the starlet announced their engagement in October 2017 with an Instagram photo of her ring.The couple didn’t make their red carpet debut until 2018 when they wore matching gray and leather outfits at the Louis Vuitton fashion show at the Louvre in Paris.The pair wed in Las Vegas in May 2019, exchanging vows and Ring Pops at the Little White Wedding Chapel with an Elvis impersonator as their officiant.
Among the attendees was Diplo, who, in a serious faux pas, live streamed the event on Instagram against Jonas’s express wishes.
