Impressed Joe Cole feels resurgent Rangers have room to grow in European football and believes they can give Borussia Dortmund a Euro fright.

The Chelsea legend is close pals with former boss Steven Gerrard and launched into a detailed answer on why he rates the Ibrox club so highly, on and off the pitch, in the immediate aftermath of the draw.

And the former England international is convinced supporters will produce an atmosphere for the ages when they host Erling Haaland and Co on February 24.

Cole is acutely aware of the threat Dortmund pose, however, he sees a route to a a third consecutive appearance in the last 16 of the Europa League with Gio van Bronckhorst at the helm.
