Another film acquisition has come down the pike out of the 2021 Sundance Film Festival. This time, the title being picked up is the drama Jockey, pegged as one of the flicks most likely to be bought at the fest.
The movie now has a home with Sony Pictures Classics, which has long been a good spot for independent dramas. Sundance is premiering the indie in literally moments, so we’ll see if it’s any good shortly, but this is a solid sign, at the very least.
Sit tight, there’s plenty more acquisitions still to come out of this year’s virtual Sundance Film Festival. Even with out Park City as its locale, things are heating up!
