Joao Cancelo is being earmarked as a potential target for Al Hilal this summer. That's according to reports from The Daily Mail as speculation around the Portugal full-back remains at fever pitch.
Cancelo spent last season on loan with Catalan giants Barcelona and has been widely linked with a return move to the iconic Camp Nou before the impending deadline on August 30 comes and goes.
Cancelo, 30, is training with City, but faces an uncertain future with the Premier League champions. When chatting to the media before his star-studded side's curtain raiser with Chelsea on Sunday afternoon, Pep Guardiola claimed there have been no formal offers for the ex-Juventus star. Al Hilal are supposedly keeping tabs on City captain Kyle Walker and Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen, as well, as the club's CEO Esteve Calzada used to hold a position within City Football Group.
