Jo Wood has confirmed her brother did die from coronavirus and she's shared an outlandish theory that the killer bug "escaped from a lab".

Ronnie Wood's ex-wife was thrown into mourning this week following the loss of artist Paul Karslake, 61, who died in hospital on Monday.

He had been suffering breathing difficulties prior to his death and Jo has now explained he did test positive for Covid-19. She also passed on a bizarre claim that the virus originated in a lab before spreading across the world.

Jo, 63, tweeted: "So it was COVID that took my brother's life on Monday... "A deadly virus that escaped from a lab and it’s affected the whole world...
