JJ Chalmers has been confirmed on the line up for Strictly Come Dancing this year, Lorraine Kelly has announced. The Scottish TV presenter and Invictus Games medallist is a a former Royal Marine Commando.
He was wounded in a bomb explosion in 2011 while serving in Afghanistan, suffering facial injuries, losing two fingers and his right elbow disintegrated.
JJ, 33, said he wanted to be treated the same as everybody else and did not want any "special treatment". "It's all just become very real!
