Jim Goodwin is hopeful Aberdeen are going to get the green light to keep Liam Scales for the season.The Irish defender is on loan at Pittodrie but Celtic have a recall option next month.
Goodwin confirmed talks are on-going between the clubs but he is hoping Ange Postecoglou will have more than enough defensive options without Scales.He said: “The chairman (Dave Cormack) was due to speak to Celtic’s board to get a feel for what their thoughts are.
I know that Steven Gunn (Director of Football) has been on to Celtic already. I think we will get confirmation on that one pretty soon.
Obviously Celtic have signed another defender who will be coming into their fold in January. The boy (Moritz) Jenz was on the bench for them on Saturday and Stafelt is back now.
