Jim Goodwin wants a picture-perfect finish against Partick Thistle to keep his son happy with the Championship trophy.The Dundee United boss and his team will be presented with the title tonight and it will be the chance for them to share their moment with their nearest and dearest.
Goodwin - who has been named as the Championship manager of the month for April - has a photograph with his wife and two daughters when he lifted the League Cup at St Mirren as a prized possession.That was before his son, James, was born and he has reminded him regularly that he has felt he has been left out of the picture - quite literally.
Goodwin confirmed: “The best picture I have had in my career was on the pitch with my two daughters after we won the League Cup at St Mirren.
My son hadn’t been born yet so he’s been desperate to get a picture of us having won something. He sees the picture of me with the girls and the trophy every day at home so he’s always asking when it’s going to be his turn.
