Zack Sharf Digital News Director Jim Carrey recently expressed interest in reprising the Grinch, but what about some of his other iconic characters?

The comedian was recently asked by ComicBook.com about making a sequel to “The Mask,” his 2004 comedy that introduced the world to Cameron Diaz and became a blockbuster with $351 million at the worldwide box office.

That number made “The Mask” the fourth highest-grossing film of 2024. So would Carrey return as the green-faced trickster? “Oh gosh, you know, it has to be the right idea.

If somebody had the right idea, I guess,” Carrey said. “It’s not really about the money. I joke about the money… But I never know.
