Jet2 has cancelled all holidays and flights to mainland Spain until August 17, after the government terminated the air bridge between the two countries.The trips will be suspended from tomorrow until next month.
Jet2 flies to four destinations in mainland Spain – Costa de Almeria, Alicante, Malaga and Murcia.It will continue to run trips to the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands, Mirror Online reports.
Just 24 hours earlier, Jet2 advised customers to arrive for their flights as normal.A statement said the airports it runs flights to are "open and are located away from areas which have been impacted by increased cases of Covid-19".
