Jesy Nelson has reflected on her time in the girl group Little Mix, admitting that she felt "trapped" and "miserable".The 30 year old star, who is set to release her debut solo single Boyz on Friday, admitted that she "couldn't deal" with constantly being compared to her former bandmates Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall.
Speaking on Fearne Cotton's Happy Place podcast, the singer added that leaving the group in December to go solo was one of the best decisions she made for herself. "I would say, 60% of me has, I'll never sit and lie and be like, oh, I'm so happy now, I don't have any insecurities as that's an absolute lie, I still have my insecurities, I still have my struggles," she noted.
