Jessica Chastain, Adam Driver to Star in Apple Series ‘The Dealer’
variety.comJoe Otterson TV Reporter Jessica Chastain and Adam Driver are set to star in the drama series “The Dealer” at Apple TV+, Variety has confirmed.
The project has been given a straight-to-series order in a competitive situation. It is described as “a biting exploration of power, class, seduction and culture set inside the glittering world of the high-end art market, told through the eyes of an aspiring super gallerist, played by Chastain, and the tangled relationship with her most gifted and unnerving artist, played by Driver.” Lucas Hnath is the writer behind the series and serves as executive producer.
Michael Ellenberg and Lindsey Springer will executive produce for Media Res, while Chastain and Kelly Carmichael will executive produce for Freckle Films.
Driver and Alan Poul also executive produce along with Sam Gold and Sarah Lunnie. Arianna Anderson will serve as co-executive producer.
