Jesse Lingard has been urged to leave Manchester United by former players Michael Owen and Dimitar Berbatov. The midfielder came through the ranks at Old Trafford, but has fallen down the pecking order over the past 18 months.
Lingard has been limited to just three appearances this season, all of which have come in cup competitions. He was a big hit when Ole Gunner Solskjaer first arrived, but now could be forced to seek pastures new.
Newcastle as well as Scottish pair Celtic and Rangers have all been linked with the player. And Berbatov believes Solskjaer's apparent lack of trust in him spells the end for the 28-year-old.
