Lingard joined West Ham on loan until the end of the campaign in January after being restricted to appearances in domestic cups at Old Trafford.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said Lingard had been sent to work with former United boss David Moyes because it had “just not worked for him” this season.Lingard has started both of the West Ham games he was available for since making the move to east London and scored twice on his debut against Aston Villa on February 3.
