Jesse Lingard proved Manchester United’s difference-maker on Sunday after coming off the bench to score the winning goal in Sunday’s 2-1 victory against West Ham United.
His sweet effort came in the 89th minute against the club who ironically helped him rediscover his best form earlier this year.
Though impressing during his time on loan in East London, he returned to Old Trafford this summer still firmly on the periphery of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plans, with several key attackers placed higher in the United pecking order.
Whilst forced to settle for cameo appearances only so far, his impact within them has still been relatively sizeable, a costly error vs Young Boys aside.
