Lingard is a lifelong Manchester United fan and grew up watching the Reds during Ronaldo's first spell at the club between 2003 and 2009.
The Portugal legend re-joined the club this summer and has scored four goals in three games since his arrival, including one against Lingard's former club West Ham last weekend.
The 28-year-old England international also scored in that game, earning United a 2-1 win with a late strike as he got to play alongside a player he considers his idol.
