The Only Way Is Essex alumni Jess Wright has opened up to fans about her trying battle with pelvic girdle pain - otherwise known as symphysis pubis dysfunction (SPD) - during the third and final trimester of her pregnancy. The former reality star, 36 - who is expecting a son with husband William Lee-Kemp - thanked her 1.5 million Instagram followers last night for providing her with guidance and support after she previously revealed she'd been struggling with pelvic joint problems.

Jess wrote: "Thank you all so much for your responses and interaction, it really does feel like I have so many girls on here that can relate and I'm so grateful for that. "A couple of weeks ago I was in heels in the sun loving life then boom another hump in the name of SPD." She added: "But just to make clear I am eternally grateful for this blessing and cannot wait to meet my baby boy." Pelvic girdle pain - which Jess has admitted to suffering - is understood to be a collection of uncomfortable symptoms caused by a stiffness of your pelvic joints, or the joints moving unevenly at either the back or front of your pelvis.Though the pain does not affect the unborn baby, it can be especially painful and can make it difficult for some women to get around.
