Jeremy Clarkson could be handed a large amount of money for his farm under new Government plans. The former Top Gear star, 61, owns a 1,000 acre Cotswolds farm, known as Diddly Squat, which he purchased in 2008.

Bolshy TV personality Jeremy - who has admitted on several occasions his lack of knowledge on farming - has given fans a chance to see the antics on the sprawling farm on his Amazon Prime series, Clarkson’s farm, and recently confessed that owning the plot has been an "expensive failure." However, The Grand Tour host could soon be given a helping hand as he could rake in a large amount from the Government to make his farm greener.
