Jennifer Lopez is reportedly "so proud" of her child Emme, after the 14 year old changed their pronouns to gender neutral. Earlier this month, J Lo, 52, used gender-neutral pronouns to introduce Emme on stage at the LA Dodgers Foundation Blue Diamond Gala.
Jennifer is the mother of two – Emme and their twin brother Maximilian – who she shares with her ex-husband singer Marc Anthony, 53.
Speaking about how proud the actress and singer is of her child, a source told Heat Magazine: "Jen is so proud of Emme and the beautiful young person they've turned out to be. "She's always encouraged Emme and Max to follow whatever path they feel is best, and she's hoping it sets an example to other parents. "Emme is very sweet, thoughtful kid – and so talented, it's looking like they will go into showbiz at some point, whether it's singing, acting or dancing."
