In “Deadpool 3,” Elektra shows up to rescue Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds), Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), Gambit (Channing Tatum), X-23 (Dafne Keen) and others from the villain Cassandra Nova (Emma Corrin).Elektra says that other heroes, including her longtime love Daredevil (Affleck), have been killed by Cassandra already.

Daredevil tells Elektra he’s sorry about Daredevil’s death.“It’s fine,” she replies with a shrug. The love story between Garner, 52, and Affleck, 51, was born on the set of “Daredevil.” They got married in 2005, two years after the film came out.

The actors announced their breakup in 2015. They finalized their divorce in 2018. However, the “Pearl Harbor” co-stars have continued to amicably co-parent their kids Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.In 2020, Affleck called his divorce from Garner “the biggest regret of my life.”“Shame is really toxic,” he told The New York Times. “There is no positive byproduct of shame.
