Jenelle Evans and her husband David Eason‘s lives remain in turmoil. The drama surrounding the former “Teen Mom” star and her teenage son, Jace Evans, is escalating, and it doesn’t look like it is near ending for them.David Eason was officially charged with child abuse on Tuesday, October 24.

The news broke early in the day, stating that David was receiving a misdemeanor charge of child abuse. The charges stem from an ongoing investigation in September after Jenelle Evans’ 14-year-old son Jace Evans accused his step-dad David Eason of allegedly assaulting him.TMZ reported that law enforcement sources also state that there is a possibility that Jenelle could also face charges. “Our law enforcement sources tell us while Jenelle hasn’t yet been charged, there’s a possibility she could eventually face charges as well.”Things are not going quite as the couple hoped, and Jenelle is furious.

She claims the legal system and law enforcement authorities have betrayed her.HND recently reported that Jenelle Evans and David Eason said Jace Evans was missing from their North Carolina home on three separate occasions from the end of August until the end of September.It hit the fan for Jenelle and David after Jace went missing for the third time.

After officials located Jace Evans following his third runaway attempt, Jace accused David of allegedly assaulting him.Authorities reportedly found numerous marks on his person.
