Jeffrey Archer Partners With Dream Bay Entertainment On Local Film & TV Adaptations

The Jeffrey Archer Company has struck a deal to localize his literary works into film and TV adaptations with ex-Amazon exec Thomas Drachkovitch and ex-CAA Agent Jason Hafford’s new outfit.

Archer’s outfit has teamed up with Dream Bay Entertainment on the deal for the Kane and Abel and Clifton Chronicles author. The 84-year-old author’s literary works have amassed a huge readership.

His books have been published in 114 countries in more than 47 languages and have passed 275 million copies sold worldwide. The Jeffrey Archer Company recently announced the development of the Kane & Abel trilogy for television in collaboration with Sex Education maker Eleven and Sony Television International.

Archer and Dream Bay revealed little more about the deal but said it would be a “strategic partnership to adapt Jeffrey Archer’s renowned literary masterpieces for television and film across all foreign language territories, with an initial focus on Indian, Asian and the Middle Eastern markets.” “This partnership represents an exhilarating opportunity to bring my stories to life for fans in India and the Middle East,” said Archer. “Teaming up with Thomas, Jason and Dream Bay Entertainment, known for their extensive regional expertise, enables us to approach these adaptations thoughtfully, respecting the vibrant cultural nuances and working with the best partners in the local markets.
