Jeff Bezos engaged to Lauren Sanchez 4 years after MacKenzie Scott split
nypost.comexclusively reported. The 59-year-old businessman — who is the world’s third-richest man with a net worth estimated at $140 billion — purportedly popped the question to the TV presenter, 53, before recently jetting off to Europe.
The couple is in the South of France for the Cannes Film Festival, where they have been hitting the star-studded party circuit and staying on Bezos’ $500 million yacht with a mermaid resembling Sanchez adorning the prow.The loved-up couple went public with their romance in 2019, shortly after announcing they had divorced their respective spouses.
Bezos announced the end of his 25-year marriage to wife MacKenzie Scott in 2019, the same year that Sanchez split from Patrick Whitesell, to whom she had been married since 2005.
Bezos and Scott have four children together, including Princeton grad son, Preston, 23. Sanchez and Whitesell have two teenage children together.
