The TV detective who was involved in the search for Jay Slater has announced his intention to reveal the "full details" of the case in an explosive new programme.
Taking to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, investigator Mark Williams-Thomas shared his plans to "make a programme" that will "put into the public domain what was known at the time and since".
Jay Slater disappeared while on holiday in Tenerife, where he was attending a music festival on June 17. The 19 year old, from Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire, was tragically found deceased following an extensive search nearly a month later on July 15, close to the village of Masca, just metres away from where he was last seen.
Williams-Thomas, who reported on the case at the time and interviewed witnesses in the search for the missing teenager, had previously hinted at having recordings that provide "gives clarity and a clear narrative to the very sad situation and events" of Jay's disappearance.
