He hauntingly noted that once Jay was in that area, it was essentially "game over".The Lancashire lad, 19, disappeared on 17 June following a festival in Tenerife and was last seen in the Rural de Teno national park.
After the body was found, following a search with dogs, it led to a complex recovery operation involving a helicopter from the emergency rescue service.
