Jamie Oliver has applied for permission to build a new Greenhouse in the grounds of his new country pad so he can grow his own food.
The celeb cook wants to put it in the walled garden of his new £6million mansion, in Essex. Plans lodged with Braintree District Council shows Jamie wants to make a white timber-framed greenhouse, with a wood burning stove in the corner.
The father-of-five bought the mansion on the 70-acre estate at the start of 2019. He had building work done on the house before he and his family moved in, including the restoration of many original features.
It boasts 12 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a large games room, great hall, dining room, two drawing rooms and a wine storage area.
