The Republic of Ireland international, who is out for a couple of months after shoulder surgery, is out-of-contract in the summer.
McGrath also has potential interest in Europe and Major League Soccer and is currently weighing up his options.Aberdeen manager Jimmy Thelin has confirmed talks with McGrath’s representative and director of football Steven Gunn are still on-going. “I know that his agent and Steven are speaking,” Thelin confirmed. “Let’s see what’s happening.
I know the process is there and that’s what I know.”The former St Mirren player, who had a loan spell at Dundee United, moved to Aberdeen two seasons ago.
