Jamie Laing confronted over BBC Radio drama as he's accused of 'getting Jordan North sacked'

Former Made in Chelsea star Jamie Laing was grilled about "getting Jordan North sacked" from BBC Radio 1 in an awkward interview.

The reality star was put under the microscope when he and wife Sophie Habboo appeared on Channel 4's Sunday Brunch.He was grilled by hosts Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer following the news that Jordan, 34, would be leaving the radio station after a decade on the airwaves .According to OK!, Jordan will reportedly join Capital FM to replace Roman Kemp, who has been at the helm of their breakfast show for seven years.

Jamie meanwhile will take over for Jordan's role alongside current co-host Vick Hope.Tim bluntly said on Sunday Brunch: "You got Jordan North sacked so you could get his job," with Jamie's wife Sophie laughing at the comment.

But the reality star appeared to look uncomfortable and attempted to divert the discussion.Speaking of his new role, he said: "So I'm starting Radio 1 Drivetime coming up, which is very exciting.
