Jamie Laing 'beyond proud' as he completes five ultra marathons in five days for Comic Relief

Jamie Laing made his way to the Comic Relief studio on Friday night, humorously remarking he "should have taken the train" instead of completing five ultra marathons this week.

He expressed being "beyond proud" when Joel Dommett informed him that he had raised a whopping £2,053,835 this week.The podcast host and ex-Made In Chelsea star, aged 36, crossed the finish line in Salford on Friday evening after embarking on the over 150-mile run on Monday morning.

Jamie, who kicked off the run at London's Broadcasting House, was greeted by a throng of supporters on Friday as he concluded his Ultra Marathon Man challenge in the northern city where Red Nose Day is being filmed.

He embraced his wife Sophie Habboo upon crossing the finish line. On his final day, radio presenter Greg James ran alongside him in a wedding dress after BBC Radio 1 listeners helped push Jamie's total past the £500,000 mark.
