Jamie Foxx has defended fellow comedian Jimmy Fallon for donning blackface to impersonate Chris Rock on TV 20 years ago.

Fallon has apologized for taking part in the 2000 Saturday Night Live sketch, calling it a “terrible decision”, but Foxx insists he didn’t need to. “He was doing an impression of Chris Rock,” he said in a post on Instagram. “It wasn’t black face… I know it’s a tough time right now.
