James Jordan blasts Strictly as Neil Jones left partnerless in favour of 'foreign dancers'

Strictly Come Dancing couples were announced on Saturday night with one professional dancer notably being left without a partner.

James Jordan, 44, called out the BBC show for downgrading Neil Jones, 40, in favour of “foreign dancers”. James took to Twitter to put the show on blast in view of his 318,000 followers.

The former professional dancer wrote: “Hi guys - just missed a lot of the launch. “Did Neil get a partner this year? Maybe I missed it,” he added with a sarcastic shrugging emoji.Moments later, he replied to Twitter user Kay Fogg, who tweeted: “Why Does Neil miss out again?” James replied: “Very strange - such a shame they don’t use the talent we have in this country. “Especially when he has the best pedigree,” James added with another shrugging emoji.“Nothing against the foreign dancers as my wife was one of them BUT too few home grown so why not Neil???” (sic) James’ followers took to the comments section to share their thoughts on Neil’s position in the show this year.
