Jason Momoa is bringing the DC Comics character Lobo to life in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, and DC Studios‘ co-head James Gunn is teasing his performance.
In a new post, Gunn shared a message he received from Momoa when he was confirmed to lead DC Studios alongside Peter Safran. “On the anniversary of Lobo, I can’t help but think of a text I received from Jason Momoa on the morning it was announced Peter & I were the heads of DC Studios — the day Jason & I first discussed him joining the DCU as Lobo,” Gunn posted on X, the microblogging platform formerly known as Twitter.
Gunn continued, “I’ve loved watching Jason bring him to life & can’t wait to share that with all of you.” In the text exchange, Momoa says, “fucking LOBO,” to which Gunn replies, “Dude I’ve said you should be Lobo for years, no lie.”On the anniversary of Lobo, I can't help but think of a text I received from Jason Momoa on the morning it was announced Peter & I were the heads of DC Studios — the day Jason & I first discussed him joining the DCU as Lobo.
