James Gunn might be able to give superhero fans something that they all want to see – a Marvel-DC crossover.
If you were unaware, James has a connection to both the Marvel Cinematic Universe and DC Studios as the director of the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise for the MCU and the co-chair of DC.
He opened up about bringing the two worlds together in a recent interview and shared some promising news. Read more about James Gunn bridging the gap between Marvel and DC… “I’m certain that’s more likely now that I’m in charge [at DC],” James told Empire about a possible crossover. “Who knows?” That being said, it doesn’t sound like it will be an immediate development: “That’s many years away, though,” he explained. “I think we have to establish what we’re doing [at DC] first.
I would be lying to say that we haven’t discussed it. But all discussions have been very, very light and fun.” James recently hinted at future plans with one of DC’s beloved actors, giving fans hope that they’d be returning amid questions about casting at the studio.
