James Corden has reportedly been charming fans and locals alike in Barry Island, just outside Cardiff, as he has kicked off filming for Gavin and Stacey's Christmas special comeback.The 46-year-old actor was seen enjoying the Welsh sunshine with co-stars Ruth Jones and Joanna Page this week.
And a local has described James as being 'really lovely' as they dished the dirt from the set. In one picture from filming, James is spotted rocking a lilac anorak as he strolls past the iconic Scoop ice cream parlour, and the shop's owner has now said he even popped over for a chat and some snaps.
Laura Davenport, 38, from Barry, shared: "We've been making ourselves known to anyone that will talk to us to be honest! " She revealed how they caught James's attention and got him to visit their shop, continuing: "Because of where the shop is, we've kind of been on set almost.
We waved madly at James and got him over to the shop. He's really lovely, asking about the shop, saying that it was really lovely, really different." "He was great, he had some photos with us one of the girls that works for us is our baker so he had one of her brownies as well.
