In a nod to Don Johnson, who played detective Sonny Crockett alongside Philip Michael Thomas as Rico Tubbs, the pair have the sleeves of their crisp white suits pushed up to their elbows.
The sketch comes as Beckham prepares for the new season with Inter Miami CF. In it, comedian Corden tells Becks: “We’ve got to get you ready for Miami.” The pair then roar off in a Ferrari like the one in the 1980s cop show – only to get stuck in typical Los Angeles traffic.
The latest offering from the celebrity duo comes as James is being lined up to supersede Ellen DeGeneres to become the new ruler of afternoon talk shows.
