Daniel Wroughton Craig (born 2 March 1968) is an English actor. After training at the National Youth Theatre and graduating from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 1991, Craig began his career on stage. James Bond beats Indiana Jones and Jason Bourne as UK's top film hero

James Bond has beaten the living daylights out of his tough-guy rivals in a poll to find the nation’s top film hero. The superspy saw off the likes of Indiana Jones, Forrest Gump and Jason Bourne.

And 007, played by heartthrobs including Daniel Craig, was a hit with one in five women asked. He got 24% of the total vote in the poll by Showcase Cinemas, with Indie on 19% and Robin Hood and Superman tied with 10%.

When it came to the ultimate villain, cannibal Hannibal Lecter from The Silence of the Lambs was the winner, followed by Darth Vader and Joker.
