James Blunt has opened up on a ‘scary’ ordeal he once had with a stalker, who claimed to be the girl that inspired his hit You’re Beautiful and demanded royalties from the star.
The singer, 46, is famed for the number one hit that tells the story of a guy seeing his ex on the tube with someone else. It was the second single he released at the start of his career in 2004 and is James’ biggest single in the US to date.
Although, it sounds like the track is also to blame for stirring up trouble too, as James revealed one woman claimed that she was the girl the song had been written about and accused him of stalking her.
She hit James with a 50-page document to back up her claim and demanded royalties from him. ‘It was quite scary, she’s pretty.
