James Argent is in training to swim the English Channel after shedding four stone.The Towie Arg recently had a gastric sleeve fitted to help him slim down from more than 27 stone, saying he gained weight after overcoming a drug and booze addiction.

He has now lost four stone out of a goal 12 and told Steph's Packed Lunch on Tuesday that the transformation had already been life changing.Talking about being a reality TV star, Arg told Steph McGovern: "It can be a lot of pressure… There were times when I was at my biggest I did feel uncomfortable about leaving the house and sometimes I’d wait until it was dark before leaving the house because I’d be conscious about having pictures taken of me…” He added: “Now I’m in a place where I’m on this.
