Jake Quickenden has shown off his incredible body transformation while hitting back at trolls over his appearance. Sharing an Instagram video of him being weighed in leopard pants, the former Dancing On Ice star posted he has 'made weight.' But the 35-year-old soon found himself being forced address a social media post that branded him ‘gaunt’ during recent television appearances.

The Facebook post included various pictures of The X Factor star appearing on television, with the caption: ‘What’s happened to Jake Quickenden?

He looks so gaunt! Hope he’s ok.’ Responding on Instagram, Jake wrote: "Please be careful commenting on people’s weight I know sometimes it comes from a good place but you never know what someone is going through and a comment can really set people back if struggling." He added: "I’ve been training hard, working a lot and been ill recently I also have to make weight for my fight coming up which is alot lower than I walk about at. "I’m fine and as soon as the fight is over I will return to my normal weight, it’s not sustainable and I’m miserable and hungry most the time.
