He says: “I am fully aware that not everyone is going to believe what I say, there is always going to be someone who disagrees.“I have no problem with people disagreeing with me and I have no problem in being seen as controversial for some of the things I've said.”Tate surged to fame online after making a number of derogatory comments about women, including suggesting they ‘bear some responsibility’ for being assaulted.

The comment saw him banned from Twitter, and a number of groups have criticised Tate for his views and warned he is a negative influence for young men and boys who consume his content.Tate first rose to fame when he appeared on Big Brother in 2016, but he was removed from the show after a video surfaced of him attacking a woman with a belt.
