Jadon Sancho reported at Manchester United's training ground at 12.30pm on Monday amid uncertainty over his future. United have been approached for comment but the expectation is manager Erik ten Hag will address Sancho's situation at his pre-match press conference on Friday.
Sancho reacted angrily to Ten Hag's explanation for his omission in the matchday squad against Arsenal, saying, "I will not allow people saying things that [are] completely untrue".
Ten Hag said Sancho was dropped for the 3-1 defeat at the Emirates Stadium due to his training form, which prompted Sancho to post a 110-word statement on his Twitter page that has since been pinned. Also read: United targeting four key signings next year United did not rule out the possibility of Sancho, 23, moving to a Saudi Arabia club last week before the Saudi Pro League's transfer window closed on Thursday evening.
The Manchester Evening News reported in April that Ten Hag was becoming impatient with Sancho, who has consistently underperformed since he joined United in July 2021.
