Jaden Brown admits he returned to pre-season training early as he aims to shine for St Mirren. The versatile 25-year-old signed a two-year contract at the SMiSA Stadium after leaving Sky Bet League One side Lincoln City this summer.

Brown spent the second half of last season on loan in Paisley – leaving a positive impression on boss Stephen Robinson. And the Tottenham Hotspur academy graduate is determined to make the most of his time north of the border which includes a crack at European football.Speaking after Saints’ 2-2 draw with Fleetwood Town in a pre-season friendly at the SMiSA on Saturday, he said: “It was good to get minutes into the legs and I’m getting back into fitness.“I had two good holidays over the summer that I enjoyed in Miami and Greece and felt rested.
