JADE has spoken to NME following her winning her first BRIT Award as a solo artist. Check out what she had to say below.The soloist and former Little Mix star received a nod at the 2025 edition of the BRITs, taking home the trophy for Best Pop Act.With the victory, she secured her first BRIT Award as a solo act, and beat off competition from Charli XCX, Dua Lipa, Lola Young and Miles Smith.
She also delivered a theatrical performance of her single ‘Angel Of My Dreams‘ at the ceremony at The O2, and used her speech to thank her “Little Mix sisters”.Speaking to NME after the ceremony, she said: “It’s crazy.
I don’t know what I was expecting but I feel like the night couldn’t have gone any better for me. I’m very proud of myself and very proud of my team.
I can’t believe I’ve won my first solo BRIT Award, it’s crazy.”She also shared plans for the rest of 2025 – confirming that she is working on new material and looking organising a tour.“The pipeline for me is more music coming very soon.
