Jada Pinkett Smith's fling August Alsina appears to wade in on Oscars slap drama

August Alsina, who Jada Pinkett Smith previously admitted to having an "entanglement" with in the past, has appeared to wade in on Will Smith's controversial slap at the 2022 Oscars.

I Am Legend star Will, 53, shocked everyone at the awards ceremony over the weekend when he walked onto the stage and slapped Chris Rock across the face over a joke he made about his 50 year old wife Jada, who has alopecia, and her shaved head.

He then returned to his seat and warned the 57 year old comedian: "Keep my wife's name out of your f*****g mouth." Now, singer August has taken to his Instagram feed to urge his 6.7million fans to "choose peace" – suggesting a reference to the incident that happened at the star-studded Oscars.
