Olympian Jack Woolley has been hailed as an ‘inspiration and role model’ after he opened up to Ryan Tubridy on The Late Late Show last night about the horrific attack he suffered in Dublin City Centre last month.

The 22-year-old old taekwondo star had not long returned from representing Ireland in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics when he was the victim of the unprovoked attack that left him needing lip surgery.

Jack explained to Ryan how he had decided to meet two female friends for food and drinks after his return.
