Friday’s Late Late Show was a very star-studded affair all in celebration of one man – the legend that is Bob Geldof. The Boomtown Rats’ frontman was honoured on the ‘f bomb’ scattered show to mark his 70th birthday and celebrate his 46-year career in the music industry.
Host Ryan Tubridy was joined in the studio by stars such as Imelda May and Andrea Corr with Midge Ure also praising the Irish musician and activist.
Bob’s wife Jeanne, 55, and daughters Tiger, 25, and Pixie, 31, were also at the big birthday bash, which some viewers hailed as a ‘cracking’ and ‘lovely’ tribute to Bob.
