Jack Tweed says Jade Goody would be so 'proud' of son Bobby joining EastEnders

Jack Tweed has opened up on how "proud" Jade Goody would have been of her two children Bobby and Freddie.The late TV star passed away in 2009 after a much-publicised and short battle with cervical cancer when she was aged just 27.Jade worked hard in her final days to ensure a legacy was left for her beloved sons and married Jack just one month before her death.Jade shared Bobby, now 19, and Freddie, now 17, with TV presenter Jeff Brazier but the boys are still close to their stepdad Jack.As Bobby gears up to make his screen debut on EastEnders next week, Jack said his mum would have been chuffed to bits with the news her child was starring in the BBC soap.And Jack says he is "really pleased" for the teen, who fulfils a lifelong acting dream with the gig and who is also continuing to carry out some more modelling work. Speaking of a life in the spotlight, Jack added: "If you met Bobby, he’s sort of made for that life – he’s got so much confidence, he’s like his mum in a lot of ways.

I’m not worried about it."The 35-year-old says both Bobby and Freddie have been hands on at several fundraising campaigns for their late mum, including last month’s charity ball which raised more than £30,000 for the Trust for Complementary Cancer Rehabilitation.Jack revealed he still talks to the boys regularly and recently took Bobby out for dinner.He added: "It is good to stay in touch, they’re doing really well for themselves," he said.He still can’t get over how much Bobby looks "exactly like his mum" and says Bobby still asks lots of questions about Jade – adding "grief doesn’t
