A Sky News presenter was almost reduced to tears as she told Scotland it should "be proud of itself" as the Queen took off from Edinburgh Airport for a final time following her death.

Anna Botting spoke as an RAF flight with Her Majesty's body on board left Edinburgh for London. The presenter was live from Holyrood House, and joined by reporter Joe Pike along with former Scottish Press Secretary to the Queen, Louise Tait.As the flight vanished, Anna said: "Well the Queen's father would have been proud of her, but Scotland should be proud of itself."That was quite a sendoff."Louise replied: "I think so.

It I think you have seen Scotland at its very best."Both started to discuss how those at Balmoral Castle might be feeling seeing today's images on the news, and it was then you could hear the emotion in both their voices.

Several cinema venues across the UK will be screening the Queen's funeral procession, while others are to remain shut. Vue cinemas will be screening the live broadcast free of charge.
