Jack Black has announced a full cancellation of his tour following a controversial comment made by his bandmate concerning Donald Trump.
Kyle Gass, a fellow member of the Tenacious D band, made a joke referencing the alleged assassination attempt on Trump reports the Mirror, leading to the tour's cessation.
In a statement, Jack expressed: "I was blindsided by what was said at the show on Sunday. I would never condone hate speech or encourage political violence in any form. "After much reflection, I no longer feel it is appropriate to continue the Tenacious D tour, and all future creative plans are on hold.
I am grateful to the fans for their support and understanding."The comedic duo, consisting of Jack and Kyle Gass, had a performance at the ICC Sydney Theatre in Australia on Saturday wherein Kyle spoke about the incident.
