Phillip Schofield
Phillip Bryan Schofield (born 1 April 1962) is an English television presenter who works for ITV. He is currently the co-presenter of This Morning (2002–present) and Dancing on Ice (2006–2014, 2018–present) alongside Holly Willoughby. His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

ITV This Morning viewers confused by 'angry' guest as they spark debate over where to keep potatoes

This Morning viewers were left a little baffled as they claimed one of the show's guests appeared 'angry' at them. Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were back at the helm of the ITV daytime show on Tuesday (February 28) with another jam-packed show full of the usual segments, guests, and famous faces.

And among those appearing on the second show of the week was Alice Beer who was live in the studio to try and help viewers with the ongoing vegetable shortages hitting shops in the UK.

She was on hand to offer some tips on how to make our fruit and vegetables last longer - if you're able to get hold of them. "We shouldn’t even be looking at a tomato until June should we really,” Alice claimed during the segment after an initial shortage of tomatoes in UK supermarkets has since widened to other fruit and vegetables due to a combination of bad weather and transport problems in Africa and Europe. But we like them out of season, we like them all year round, so the supermarkets keep the shelves full of them," the consumer expert added before seemingly sharing her gripe with those who eat certain items of veg out of season. "We’re not going to get scurvy and all keel over in the streets if we don’t have a pepper or a tomato or a cucumber for a couple of weeks,” she said. "Yeah, so slightly, get over yourself.
